Tim Hortons’ Roll Up The Rim has started today, but it’s unlike any of its previous editions. This year’s Roll Up The Rim will have no cups. Yes, you read that right.
Amid concerns regarding coronavirus outbreak, Tim Hortons wanted to run this annually held contest keeping the safety of the employees in mind. Instead of prizes being revealed in the plastic cups, the cash registers will be programmed to randomly pick free beverages and snacks for the customers.
This would be the plan of action for the first two weeks, The final week will be held exclusively online. The ultimate winner gets $30 million in Roll Up The Rim this year.
