
One Filipino restaurant in Toronto has taken to saluting frontline workers with free meals.
Kanto by Tita Flips, a popular Filipino-cuisine restaurant, may have it’s shutters closed due to the lockdown, but owner Diona Joyce is busy on delivery runs for customers and frontline workers.
Working in partnership with Adhika, a non-profit organization that aims to empower Filipinos both in Canada and in the Philippines, Joyce has launched a project called Feed The Frontline, in an effort to provide fresh, nutritious food to frontline workers and first responders in the Greater Toronto Area.

So far, Feed The Frontline has raised $3,000 in funds and have delivered 523 meals to frontline workers.
Donations can be made to Adhika through this portal, through their Facebook page or by mailing a cheque to the address listed below. According to Adhika, charitable receipts will be provided for all donations above $10.
