Family Time At Mississauga Waterfront Festival
Enjoy vibrant carnivals, a petting zoo and spectacular outdoor concerts

Back for its 24th edition, the Mississauga Waterfront Festival (MWF) is celebrated every year and is known as Mississauga’s Signature Family and Friends event. Sporting a 13-year accolade in the Top 100 Festivals in Ontario, the MWF attracts more than 70,000 visitors every year over the 3-day weekend celebrations. Event visitors can enjoy live outdoor entertainment, family activities at the Family Fun Village, and delectable food and beverages.
The festival is known to host a showcase of local and international musical talent. Past years’ concert performances include Tom Cochrane, Suzie McNeill, Chantal Kreviazuk, Colin James, Kathleen Edwards and Bruce Cockburn. In addition to concerts, the MWF also partners with local charities’ and non-profit organizations’ outreach programs, such as St. John’s Ambulance, Chinese Arts Organization, Community Living, Mississauga Heritage, to name a few.
The MWF also has a Sponsor A Child program, where less fortunate families are invited to the festival and given a hot meal and carnival rides in the Fun Village.
Of course, you can expect some rules in place at #MWF2020. Have a look at the list of rules and restrictions at the festival.
