Craft Breweries Deliver Across Toronto

Enjoy craft hops within the safety of your home

Local breweries in Toronto have taken to providing a home delivery service to help residents stay home during the emergency Quarantine Act recently passed to combat the progress of COVID-19.

In an effort to help people limit their ventures into public to groceries and medical needs, almost 20 local craft breweries in Toronto now deliver beer to residents on orders, with many breweries promising no delivery charge on a minimum bill of $50.

Jeff Brown with partner Jen Rashleigh, owners of Delight Chocolate and the Junction Fromagerie have set up a collaboration with local brewery People’s Pint, owned by Doug Applehorn, to deliver ale and bites combos to customers. Currently, the collab offers stout ale with coconut-banana ice cream, a golden ale with a goat cheddar and caramel smoked salt chocolate with an IPA. Orders can be placed via phone or email and the delivery window is set between 5 PM to 8 PM from Tuesdays to Sundays. However, customers may be asked to provide ID proof to confirm that they are of legal drinking age.

Not all breweries have been able to figure out the logistics of home delivery services. Indie Ale House in the Junction and Godspeed in the Upper Beaches are still in the works of creating a delivery system for both food and beverages.

Here are some breweries in Toronto that are offering home delivery:

The measure was taken with a primary view of helping residents stay home during the coronavirus pandemic, and hopefully it will also support the local economy.
